Representing Moshavim (Cooperative Agricultural Villages), Kibbutzim and Individuals
One of the core practice areas of the firm is representing tenants of leased land, (Moshavim, Cooperative Agricultural Villages, Kibbutzim and individuals) who come before the Israel Land Authority.
As part of this work, the firm supports those who lease land, from demanding their full rights according to leasing contracts or the plot of land, or arranging their rights with the Israel Land Authority including the rezoning of the land. All this is accomplished by the firm’s team, which is familiar with the latest decisions by the Council and Management of the Israel Land Authority. The firm has, for many years, represented and continues to represent Moshavim and Kibbutzim who come before the authorities in order to protect and realize their rights as empowered in historic contracts signed before the establishment of the State of Israel and which grants them unique and full land leasing rights in the standard leasing contracts issued by the Israel Land Authority.

Over the years, Adv. Gideon Hatuka has handled the rezoning of thousands of acres of land throughout Israel. In some cases, agricultural land was rezoned for residential, commercial, office and factory construction, and in other cases the rights of the land in terms of value were enhanced, in cases where the planning did not realize the optimal potential.
