Industrial Park and Residential Neighborhood in Rosh Ha’ayin

In 1996, together with promotion of the “Airport City Business Park” next to Ben Gurion Airport, Adv. Gideon Hatuka represented (together with Adv. Shraga Biran) the Rosh Ha’ayin Municipality and its economic company in planning and creating two large-scale projects in the northwest of the city adjacent to the Kessem Junction at the intersection of Highways 5 and 6.
1. A residential project with about 1,200 housing units called “Nitsba City”
2. A huge business park of about 330,000 square meters of building space for commerce, offices, eateries, parking, exhibitions and entertainment (comparable with Airport City).
3. The support provided by Adv. Gideon Hatuka together with Adv. Shraga Biran led to an unprecedented process of cooperation between the local authority and neighboring kibbutzim, as part of which about 1,100,000 square meters under the jurisdiction of the South Sharon Regional Council was transferred to the jurisdiction of Rosh Ha’ayin. The process also set in motion a broad-scale urban renewal procedure in Rosh Ha’ayin while transforming it into a metropolitan center in Gush Dan (Greater Tel Aviv).
