Details of Project: Rezoning agricultural land for housing and building an exclusive neighborhood with about 2,200 homes.

About the project
Moshav Galia held 300,000 square meters of agricultural land within the Rehovot municipality. In 1992, a vision was formed to rezone the agricultural land for residential construction. In 1996, after five years of planning, the plan was approved and in 2000 development work began. Today, the exclusive residential neighborhood “Rehovot Hahollandit” contains 2,000 homes and it has been completed and occupied. Construction of the prestigious neighborhood has even brought about a rise in the value of the adjacent neighborhoods such as “Kfar Gabirol.”
